Not much at all going on in May as well, and I wonder if it's an entirely hopeless situation for everyone involved in the film supply chain channel with the ongoing multiplex strike, given the Indian Premier League of cricket is in full swing. (Go Mumbai Indians! :) The only film scheduled to release this month is '99', on the eighth. Here's a trailer of the film starring Kunal Khemu (yes, that kid from Hum Hain Raahi Pyaar Ke (1993) and Raja Hindustani (1995)!), Soha Ali Khan, Simone Singh, and others.
In other news, I've been using since its release in late March this new Sony wearable MP3 Walkman during workouts. Ladies and gentlemen, I am here to tell you that for any exercise activity, this is beyond anything else that's been made available by anyone including Apple, Inc. The ear buds are strong enough to silence the wind even when running at the beach (although you can turn down the volume to where you hear everything around you and still enjoy the music, so it's hardly a hazard). And at its price, it's a steal -- it could have been priced at least $50 more, and I'd still think it were a bargain. Check out this video review for more.
My only concern -- that it wouldn't fit well -- was nullified when I used it hanging upside down without any incidents (and no, it's a standard gym routine, not an impersonation of the Kaala Bandar -- can't you just hear Divya Dutta say the term?). Other noteworthy features include a three-minute charge for 90 minutes of playback (with 12 hours non-stop playback at a full charge), compatibility with Apple (uprotected AAC) and Microsoft (WMA) audio formats, and with the Mac, Linux, and Windows operating systems. Definitely recommended, don't think twice. And ladies, it's also available in pink.**
In yet some more news, this 20 in. x 30 in. piece is the latest addition to my wall of fame :)
