Imran, Sanjay, and Minissha in Kidnap

The Taare Zameen Par DVD finally arrived yesterday! Cannot wait to view and review. Congrats and thanks to visitor Salek for working through this maze incredibly well.

Imran Khan
is playing a shady character in Kidnap. The film will be releasing October 2 (that's Mahatma Gandhi's birthday, and this year, around Eid!), and also stars Sanjay Dutt and Minissha Lamba (loved her since Yahaan (2005)). This new trailer (
also available here) is promising, and also stars a real tattoo :) All trailers are available at this link. The Aazaadi Sawaari will soon take us to 1947...

Bollywood Fan,
Thanks for posting the trailer! It looks like something I would go see, haven't seen "JTYJN" yet, but have heard nothing but good things about Imran.

Oh my gosh, The "TZP" dvd is finally out?!? I'll have to buy it asap--didn't get to go see it in the theaters. Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah, thanks for that tip-off. I was listening to the TZP music yesterday, for the first time since the movie, and wishing the dvd would come out soon. TZP really is my pasandida movie, of all time, all genres.

I still haven't seen JTYJN yet either. I hope it isn't an equally long wait for that dvd as well.

I'm off to Amazon now!

Hi Nida and Joss: The TZP DVD is not out in the U.S. and U.K.; I had to ask a friend to send it to me :) Disney has the distribution rights for here, and it'll probably be another 2-3 months before we see it in stores :( More background on the DVD is contained in this post.

Nida: Kidnap should be interesting. I'm also looking forward to Minissha's performance in this. And of course we know what Sanjay Dutt can do!

Joss: I would guess the Jaane Tu DVD will be out by the end of this year...let's keep our fingers crossed. I think you'll enjoy it!

Cheers!

Hi Nicki: Thanks! :) Can't wait to see it. And Imran's popularity stock has gone up immensely since Jaane Tu. Kidnap should be fun. Cheers!

I cant wait for "Kidnap". Mainly for Imran, who (to quote Nicki) "is a hottie"! But the pairing of Imran with Minissha...Hmm.. I dont think they'll look good together but I dunno, maybe I'm wrong. Cos in
Bachna Ae Haseeno, in my opinion, she & Ranbir looked awful together.

Hi eMa: The pairing of Imran and Minissha should be interesting, because since he's playing the kidnapper, we know to not go in expecting a love story (maybe we'll be surprised?).

Haven't seen Bachna Ae Haseeno, primarily because the feedback on her hasn't been that good. Really liked her in Yahaan, and I've heard she's done real well in Shaurya earlier this year, and Dus Kahaniyaan too, both of which I'm hoping to see soon.

Can't wait to October 2!
