Here is an interesting interview with Genelia D'Souza, in which she appears rather sensible and honest:
Thank you Buzz18 for the video
Here is part of the latest cover of CineBlitz, courtesy this link. Aamir and Imran were also present at Rajiv Masand's show at the CNN-IBN studios. Here is a preview. Watch the episode at these links: Part 1 | Part 2.
Check out this wonderful picture gallery of the premiere of the film. It's great to see so many actors present, including Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Kabir Bedi, Tabu, Dia Mirza, Jiah Khan, Sridevi, Sonam Kapoor, Pooja Bedi, and many, many more. Here is an excellent video from the premiere (watch out for spoilers toward the end).
Of course, this -- from the picture gallery noted above -- is a good thing (I like Mr. Bachchan's tie):
Here is what Mr. Bachchan said on the film, as noted in this post at his blog:
‘Jaane tu…’ is a wonderful sweet film; refreshing and filled with talent that is young and relaxed. There simply is no effort that can be noticed on any actor in trying to project that they are acting. Everyone so confident and cool; if I may borrow the colloquial.
The narration of the script is novel and different. The writing is ‘now’ and the atmosphere young and generation next. Imran and Genelia are delightful. For Imran it certainly does not look like the first film and Genelia has the most expressive eyes and face. Such a strange coincidence. She came in front of the ca mera in her early years for the first time in an advertisement she did along with me. It was the Parker Pen add., one of the earliest ones.
Promised to release this earlier, hence this note: The quality of visitors to a blog matters way more than the quantity, but I've had a little over 40 thousand visits since the Jaane Tu soundtrack released on May 22, the overwhelming majority of who were interested in the film and its songs. There seems to be some curiosity for the film out there! And if the music getting that many visitors to my little piece of real estate on the internet is anything to go by, the film should do quite well.
A big thank you to those who have taken time to write, adding so much to the discussions!
It's finally here. Quite confident it was worth the wait...
Reader Prochy has put together this excellent montage of Imran Khan, and was kind enough to share it. This also contains pictures featuring several members of the the Jaane Tu team, and is made even better because of a fabulous song! Play this video:
And there's even one with the lovely Genelia D'Souza!
Thank you Prochy!
