Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na trailer: Nazrein Milaana

Here is the latest trailer of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na by Aamir Khan Productions, featuring the song Nazrein Milaana from A. R. Rahman's soundtrack to the film starring Imran Khan and Genelia D'Souza. Here is my translation of the song. The complete song book (sans the remix track) is contained in my review of the soundtrack, as are the other trailers after the very first.

The song has much to enjoy, including references to the film Dil Chahta Hai (2001) and a ghazal by the legendary Mirza Ghalib! I love the accompanying trailer. The artwork on the truck is well-captured in a couple of frames (still amazed at the percentage of disposable income several truck owners in India spend on decorating their vehicles -- most of which is worth admiring). And I know someone who looks very similar to the woman playing the guitar, and she can surely expect to hear of it soon! =)

It is, it is! I don't doubt the film will be very good too.

As always, I am a little too anxious, well in advance. It's Aamir bhai's brand promise -- yet to disappoint this decade.

Just wanted to let you know that the latest JTYJN promo, featuring 'Tu Bole', has been released. It's not on the official site yet, but you can check it out on YouTube.

Copy and paste the following into the search box:
Tu bole | Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na | Promo 5

Based on the promo, I'm guessing 'Tu Bole' is going to be a situational song played in the background.

Actually that promo and three dialogue promos are now on the official site. Sorry about that!
