The highlights of the film are easily identifiable. There are primarily two:
1. The soundtrack is well above average, with Khaabon se Nikal ke by Alisha Chinai and Yeh Faasle by Adnan Sami having good repeat listening value. Laija Laija (sung by Khushboo Jain) is another above average song. The title track by Adnan Sami is funny and does its part.
2. Rajpal Yadav is effective. The rest of the cast does its job, but the plot is too ordinary and the comedy too redundant, causing the film to lose its effectiveness and of the positive teachings it had the potential to impart (yes, the potential was definitely there).
I am going to skip anything close to a more thorough review, for I recommend against watching this one. This is something I seldom do. Sadly, a disappointing film, one that gets one star for being below average and for wasting potential. I expected much better from the portfolios of the likes of Neha Dhupia and Rajpal Yadav.
Movie rating: 1/5 (below average)
My classification: PG-13
