The chemistry between Raghu Jaitley (Aamir Khan) and Pooja Dharamchand (Pooja Bhatt) oozes off the screen. The plot is simple -- silly in some cases, some would argue -- but there is sincerity contained therein, and that is clearly reflected on screen. Much like the development of the affection between Aamir and Pooja is. And the generic antagonist, who goes largely unnoticed for a good reason, takes a welcome back seat as the real issue is sorted out.
Here is my favorite scene from the film. With a classic song as the undertone:
Overall, an excellent film with an excellent soundtrack that portrays a different style of romance, and is effective at pulling off a plot through the performances of the principal actors.
Movie rating: ****1/2 (Excellent)
Music rating: **** (Excellent)
My classification: U/G (very clean, especially given today's standards)
