Choreography that deserves acclaim

Speaking of Jab We Met, here is something to truly appreciate. Seems like the song Yeh Ishq is going to be among the most well-choreographed of 2007. A few notes on that from this link show the level of detail involved in its development. One can only imagine the logistical challenge that underlay this:

For the song picturization of the foot-tapping “Yeh Ishq” from Jab We Met, choreographer Saroj Khan used over 180 dancers from different parts of Himachal Pradesh. According to director Imtiaz Ali, “We had local troupes from Tibet, Chamba, Bilaspur, Kinnor, Dharamshala, Hamirpur and Kullu."

Wow. Two thumbs up to Saroj Khan. Here is a glimpse of the resulting product. This promo is quite amazing. We can only imagine what the full-length version in the cinemas will be like!
