Here is an interesting piece on the Bollywood influence emanating into the corporate world. This is not new, for I believe the influence has always existed. However, the conceptualization of ideas that are relevant to the corporate world, and the formulation of frameworks (plots) that are centered largely on fostering a sense of community in society at large, and taking ownership, as was done in examples cited: Lagaan, Rang De Basanti, Swades, Chak De India, etc., is what has emerged as a Bollywood favorite so far this decade.
