One country that offers amazingly breathtaking views of nature that has not been captured as much as it deserves to be is Canada. Canada Day was this past weekend, and marked 150 years of the country's coming together. Took these pictures at Niagara. We were listening to the soundtracks to Dil Se and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai while driving up. What do you think?

Which was the last Bollywood film you can remember that emphasized Canada? I can recall Tum Bin (2001). That film captured Canada's landscapes quite well. The movie starred Priyanshu Chatterjee, Himanshu Malik, and Sandali Sinha. You might also recall its soundtrack was one of the better ones of that year.
So here is something atop my wish-list to Bollywood directors -- spend more time in Canada! There is too much diversity (of all sorts) and flair all across the country to ignore it.

If I remember correctly, The Hero - Love Story of a Spy (2003) was also filmed in Canada. Recently I think Kismat Konnection was also shot in Toronto and at Niagara Falls. I completely agree that Tum Bin had a great soundtrack, still listen to ‘Chhoti Chhoti Raatein’ and ‘Tumhare Siva’. And your second picture reminds of the Grand Canyon with the Colorado River cutting through it, another stunning natural landmark you should definitely visit.
Hi Salek: You're right about Kismat Konnection being shot in Canada. That should be a lot of fun. Ah, the Grand Canyon...one place I definitely need to visit!
